Journily is a native iOS app, not a web page in a wrapper. It opens fast, works with no signal, and keeps your scrapbook on the device unless you ask it not to.
- Runs offline. Journal entries, photos, the world map and the ambient sound library all work in airplane mode. Only AI recaps and cloud backup need a connection.
- Sign in with Apple is supported, so you can create an account without handing over an email address. You can also skip the account entirely and stay local.
- Exports go through the iOS share sheet — save a scrapbook PDF to Files, AirDrop it, print it, or send it to iCloud Drive yourself.
- Photos stay where you put them. Journily copies the images you pin into its own storage, so deleting a photo from your camera roll doesn't blank your scrapbook.

Before you download
Does Journily work without an internet connection on iPhone?
Yes. Your journal entries, photos, the country map and the ambient sound library are all stored on the device and work in airplane mode. Only AI recaps and cloud backup require a connection.
Do I need an Apple account to use Journily?
No. You can use Journily entirely locally without signing in. An account is only needed for AI recaps and cloud backup, and you can create one with Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address.
Where do exported PDFs go on iPhone?
Export opens the standard iOS share sheet, so you can save the PDF to Files or iCloud Drive, AirDrop it, print it, or send it to any app you like. Journily does not upload it anywhere on its own.
