An app that tracks the countries you've visited — and remembers why

Fill in a world map across all 195 countries, collect a passport stamp for each one, and watch your continent coverage climb. Free, offline, and no background location tracking.

The map

Every country you've been to, in one picture

Journily's map covers all 195 countries. Tap one to mark it visited, favourite or wishlist, and the map fills in as you go — the same satisfaction as a scratch-off poster, except it also remembers what happened there.

  • Three states per country: visited, favourite and wishlist, so the map shows both where you've been and where you're going.
  • Passport stamps. Each visited country earns a stamp in a passport view you can flip through.
  • Continent coverage. Your percentage across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Oceania, tracked automatically from your trips.
  • Achievements for milestones like ten countries, three continents, or a solo trip — twenty in total.

The difference

A counter is easy. Remembering is the hard part.

Plenty of apps count countries. The number is fun for about a minute, and then it's just a number. Journily attaches the actual trip to each pin — the daily entries, the photos you pinned, the recorded sound of the place, an AI-written recap woven from your own words. The map becomes an index of your memories rather than a scoreboard.

Offline

Works without a connection

The map, the stamps and your stats are stored on the device. You can mark a country the moment you land, before you've found wifi.

Questions

Before you download

How many countries does Journily track?

All 195. You can mark each one as visited, favourite or wishlist, and Journily calculates your continent coverage from that.

Does it track my location in the background?

No. Journily never tracks your location in the background. You mark countries yourself, deliberately.

Is the country map free?

Yes. The interactive map, passport stamps, achievements and continent statistics are all available on the free tier with no limit.

Can I see which countries I have left?

Yes. Countries you have not marked stay unfilled on the map, and the wishlist state lets you flag the ones you are planning next.
